Basket Care
If properly cared for, our baskets should last for years—they are sturdy, flexible and strong. They are woven from wild grasses, water reed or palm leaf, and dyed leather.
It's easy to care for your basket. To clean, entire basket may be submerged in soapy water, scrubbed with a soft brush, rinsed and set in the sun to dry. Allow the basket to dry thoroughly to prevent mold.
Sometimes it's necessary to reshape your basket after shipping. You may reshape the basket when wet by putting something heavy in it to hold the shape you want, and then let it dry. It's very important to dry your basket completely to prevent mold
To clean leather, use a mild leather soap.
